Eek! I missed last week's teaser post, but I worked all week and didn't even get to write until the other night, when I finally finished my piece for the Nashville collection. You can still get the collection, as long as you donate to one of the accepted charities and send in the receipt by June 14th to get access to it. I offered two pieces, one of them being the first chapter of a future story of mine (Unlucky Me) and one being a completely original Peter/Bella one shot, called Field of Hopes. I have teasers from Unlucky Me, Field of Hopes, and The Art of Online Dating. I also have a banner for Field of Hopes. Hopefully, this will entice you to donate to a great cause and read both my stories plus the other great stories inside. Please note that the written teaser for The Art of Online Dating is unbeta'd and is subject to change, possibly not even making it to the final cut. The other two written teasers are in their final phase and are shown exactly as in the Nashville Collection. Here we go.

 "Are you enjoying yourself, Emmett?" she yelled. There was a loud yelp and the sound of feet slapping on the hardwood.
"And how did you know he was there exactly?" Rosalie asked, her eyebrow raised in a questioning manner.
"Too many sleepovers as a young girl. He always wants to know what we're talking about. He was convinced that Bella and I secretly made out and had pillow fights in our panties every time. I would wait until Bella went to use my bathroom to get ready to call him out on it." Alice shrugged and opened the door.
"I always wondered why you were yelling strange things while I was in there..." I trailed off before making my way out to the kitchen.

“You were in an accident. You must not have heard the sirens and we were going too fast. You were hit by an ambulance going fifty-five miles an hour,” he said with a look of solemnity mixed with guilt.

“I was what? I got in an accident--with an ambulance?” I sat there shocked at how only such a thing could happen to me. “I don't know how I do it. I manage to have things that are seemingly impossible or so rare that they don't matter always happen to me.”

“So, you're saying this kind of thing happens a lot?” he asked utterly confused but slightly amused.

“Yes, actually,” I said matter-of factly, trying to look defiant.

 "Do you remember the baby shower my mom had when she was getting ready to have Jasper?" he asked.

She looked up at him wondering where the topic was heading.

"Yes, I was 13 and getting ready to graduate 8th grade then. Why?"  Her eyebrows furrowed together while she tried to think of any connection that could be made.
"Your mom had an incident there, too. She fell down and went to the hospital just like today," he said softly.
"I'm sorry but I'm not seeing how this conn--" she started to say, trying to mask her annoyance at his beating around the bush.
"My point is, she was able to turn things around then and she will again. She went into remission for 3 whole years. Shouldn't that give you some kind of hope? Her remission periods keep getting longer and--"

"And the cancer keeps coming back stronger," she finished.

I know, I know. Late. I'm terrible. And on top of being late, I also don't have teasers for my two main stories because I've been so caught up with finals and work, but I do have two new teasers for the pieces I am offering for the Nashville piece, so shall we go onward to the teasing?

Bella wandered through the field as she did every day on her way home from school. She wasn't normally a fan of routine, but it seemed to be something she fell into easily. This particular routine was one she was okay with. Passing through the field of blossoming tulips always made even her worst day seem better, brighter, and today was a day that needed it.

 Summary: Edward and Bella have a history, but lose contact for 10 years. They end up working together and try to work things out. But Bella has an unresolved issue that compels her to stay as far as possible from Edward. Will they be able to work past it?

I'm back with a banner and a new rec for you. My lovely beta and prompt master, Lie2me.87, writes a little fic called Learning to Fall. It starts out with an "Omg that sucks" moment and goes on to give us a smart and determined Bella faced with seeing an unwanted Edward at work. She's a trauma surgeon, he's an ER doctor. We also have Alice and Jasper in this fic. Alice is quite the crazy one, but she's got her heart set on protecting her best friend, Bella. They also work together with Jasper, an oncologist, and Peter, who's super sweet. The story takes place in Santa Monica, CA, getting us out of the Forks area completely. There's no rain and clouds here. There's still something left to find out about this Bella, but we'll have to wait until the story progresses. It's cute and funny and Bella enjoys using sarcasm. It's only six chapters in, so I suggest you hop on this train now, while it's still gathering speed. :)

Well would you look at that, I'm back with more teasers! This time I have pictures for both because they could not be resisted. One is definitely not safe for work/school/children, so careful when scrolling down. I got the inspiration for the I'll Want You Forever chapter while at work and Chicklette convinced me to go with it. :P I'm still working hard at getting the Art of Online Dating chapter done as soon as possible because you all have been waiting so patiently for it. I had lived all my life in Washington and had never been to the Seattle Space Needle. I had seen pictures in brochures and online, even looked at it as I drove by, but I had never seen it up close or look so beautiful. With lights bright against the dark, night sky, it looked breathtaking. I was glad that Edward had chosen this for our dinner portion of the date.

"I wish I had my camera," I whispered to Edward.
"Lucky I brought mine then." 

I looked  over at him and he smiled, handing me his tiny blue Nikon digital camera from his pocket.

"Snap away, beautiful,"  he said before he kissed my forehead and stepped back to give me space.

So sorry I keep getting them posted so late, but I finally got a job! It's 30 hrs a week plus things at school are gearing up for the last month before Finals, so I've been super busy. I'm trying to get this chapter out as soon as possible, but I have no time to write at work and by the time I get home, it's already dinner time, blah blah, blah. Anyway, both the teasers are written teasers, so I'm gonna go ahead with the disclaimer here and say that these are not guaranteed to appear in the chapter, but something along the same lines should, at least. They are also unbeta'd and may have grammar/spelling issues. I apologize in advance for any mistakes. These are very rough, but I wanted to give you guys something other than pictures this week. I startled awake from the same nightmare that had been replaying all week. I knew it was all over and we had won, but I couldn't get this ridiculous idea to leave my mind.


I looked at the clock and the numbers blinked back 3:47 am. I'd have to remember to punch Edward in the morning for using that stupid nickname for Laurent. It was the only reason I was still dwelling on things.


My imagination liked to take things and run with them. As an artist, it was great, however, it was not so great for someone susceptible to nightmares.

I woke up and noticed that Edward was not in the room. He must've had to walk away at some point from, I'm sure, the loud noises I had made in my sleep. If I had been prone to somniloquy before we made love, I was fairly sure the moaning that had been loud and uncontrollable in my dreams, had not stayed there.

Now that we had finally consummated our relationship,  it was time to be a little less tender and a little more passionate. I knew just how I was going to kick this up a notch, I just had to figure out where Edward was first.

Okay, I'm back and I'm late again, but I'm here with a teaser and that's what matters, right? Right. So I've been super busy finishing my final project for my web design class, which means I didn't get much writing done. Unfortunately, I don't have written teasers right now, but I might by the next post. Please remember that both of these are M-rated stories and the next chapters of both of these will be demonstrating those ratings. If you are reading TAOOD, there will be markers for those of you who want to skip around it. However, in IWYF, the scene is a major part of the chapter and the movement of the plot I am using to wrap up this story, so there won't really be a way to skip it. Well, I'm back like I promised. I have two teasers for each of my stories. Out of the four, one of them is a written teaser. Yay, right? I haven't got much written, but I am working on it. These teasers are suggestive and therefore will be somewhat NSFW. There is no nudity, cursing, or anything of that sort, but it is suggestive of sexual things, as you can probably already see depending on the resolution of your computer screen. Sorry for the delay with the teasers but I was out of town last week and still am for the rest of this week. However, because we skipped last week's teaser post, there will be two for each in this week's post. I also am happy to say that one of the teasers will be a written one.

It's looking like this next chapter of The Art of Online Dating will have a bit of angst, some humor and a lot of romance. I will be wrapping up the Victoria/James conflict and then there's Valentine's day to cover, so you know what that means! At least all the dirty birds will remember lol. But if you are underage or uncomfortable with the lemony scene, I will have markers for you to read around it. It won't take up the whole chapter and I know some of you get squicked out by those scenes. I wouldn't want to make anybody feel the need to stop reading because of it.

The next chapter of I'll Want You Forever is continuing the honeymoon and will be one of the last three chapters! I'm finally wrapping it up and I'm glad that some of you have stuck around this long.

Profmom72 was so kind as to donate money to The Fandom Gives Back auction for me to write a piece for her. Her prompts were late night convenience store, Edward and Bella, and AU. I finally completed it. You can click the title to take you to the story. It's called No One Likes To Be Alone. It was only supposed to be 2000 words, but I went overboard by almost 1000 words because I couldn't get them to stop talking and I felt that Profmom deserved the extra amount since I took so long. Alright, here's just a post to update y'all with what I'm up to.

I am currently working on a banner/gif for Word Ninja for her story Big Sky. (Cowboy Edward, yum!)

I am making a gif for a lovely lady from the forest.

I am making a banner for the FGB auction piece for Profmom72.

I am starting a weekly pic/word teaser post tomorrow. What this means is that every Friday, give or take a few days depending on how busy I am or how badly I want to share with you guys, I will be posting a teaser of either the picture or written variety. Since I have barely written any of the next chapters due to work, school, and other commitments, I will be starting off with pic teasers for the next couple weeks. This will also work as my inspiration, so win/win? It also means that some of these photos may be NSFW (not safe for work) or school or children. If you are a mature, legal adult, wherever you may live, then great. If not, you probably shouldn't be reading the next couple chapters of my stories anyway lol. NSFW does not necessarily mean nudity however. It just may mean an excess of skin, light to heavy kissing, or insinuating of not so PG-rated actions. I most likely will never post nudity unless main parts are tastefully covered.

Here is how I stand on my updates:
